Ms. Eileen Ryan is an associate of Berkman, Henoch focusing her practice on residential, condominium and commercial real estate transactions, tax certiorari and litigation matters primarily involving mortgages and title issues.  She represents numerous national lenders and financial institutions and has appeared in Court hearings in over ten counties throughout New York State.

Prior to joining Berkman Henoch, Ms. Ryan worked as Plaintiff’s counsel on merger and acquisition suits as well as securities class actions representing shareholders of major corporations.  Ms. Ryan also worked as a managing attorney in a boutique law firm in Suffolk County, New York which concentrated in the areas of real estate and foreclosure.

Ms. Ryan is admitted in New York State, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.  She is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association.  Ms. Ryan is also the current Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Herstory Writer’s Workshop, a non-profit literacy organization dedicated to providing writing workshops to traditionally unheard populations.

Ms. Ryan received her BA from Saint Joseph’s College and her J.D. from Saint John’s University, School of Law.  She is an avid yogi and runner.
