Bergman Lectures For Fannie Mae Summit

Firm member Bruce J Bergman, who heads the commercial foreclosure department and is the author of the definitive four volume treatise “Bergman On New York Mortgage Foreclosures”, LexisNexis, Matthew Bender, was a featured speaker at Fannie Mae’s Attorney Summit on August 8, 2022 at the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport. Mr Bergman addressed the new statute changing the interest rate on money judgments from 9% to 2%, supporting the position that the new statute does not apply to foreclosure judgments.
