Nicholas graduated from Fairfield University, cum laude, in 2001 and earned his J.D. from Albany Law School, cum laude, in 2005 where he was an associate editor of the Albany Law Environmental Outlook Journal.

After graduating from law school, Nicholas served as an assistant district attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office.  In 2008, Nicholas was chosen to represent the Bronx District Attorney at the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York where he investigated large scale narcotics organizations and tried Class A felony cases.

In 2011, Nicholas joined a boutique law firm in Garden City, New York concentrating in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial litigation.  There he served as counsel to a Chapter 7 trustee, litigated complex issues of bankruptcy law and represented debtors and creditors in cases under Chapter 7, 13 and 11 of the Bankruptcy Code.

Nicholas joined Berkman Henoch’s Litigation Department in May 2019.

Nicholas is a seasoned litigator who has extensive experience preparing pleadings, conducting pre-trial discovery, arguing motions and conducting trials before the United States Bankruptcy Courts, United States District Courts and New York State Supreme Courts.

Nicholas resides on Long Island’s south shore with his wife and their two daughters and in his free time enjoys skiing and playing hockey.
