New York Law Journal Publishes Firm Partner Article
The New York Law Journal on December 30, 20205 published an article entitled “Pursuing the Deficiency Judgment: Recent Enlightenment” written by Bruce J. Bergman, head of the firm’s commercial foreclosure department. This can be a thorny subject so the analysis reviewed the structure of the procedure and addressed some interesting twists which appeared in a recent case. Mr. Bergman is also the author of the definitive treatise on the wider subject inclusive of deficiency judgments, “Bergman On New York Mortgage Foreclosures”, LexisNexis Matthew Bender (rev. 2025).
