Ms. Milgrom represents clients in a broad range of real estate and financing matters, including commercial real estate (all facets, including real property acquisitions, private/public partnerships (with a particular emphasis on development of workforce, senior and affordable housing, utilizing among other programs, the low-income housing tax credit program), zoning and municipal, IDA financing and other incentive programs and leasing.

Ms. Milgrom earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Cornell University, and her J.D., cum laude from Boston University. Ms. Milgrom has practiced law with Berkman, Henoch since graduation from law school and was the first woman “equity partner” admitted to the firm. She chairs the Banking & Financial Services practice group and is Co-Chair of the Real Estate practice group.

Among Ms. Milgrom’s various clients, she primarily represents real estate developers, housing authorities, municipalities, lending institutions and not-for profits relating to their transactional work.

Further, Ms. Milgrom has created a niche practice area representing developers in the not for profit field (including housing authorities and municipalities) in connection with private/public partnerships,  affordable housing, mixed use housing, workforce housing and senior housing, and other related projects seeking equity partners, low income housing tax credits, IDA benefits,  HUD financing, and other forms of leveraged financing,  benefits and incentives (such as payment in lieu of real estate tax agreements).  All of her projects on behalf of her clients have had the support of the applicable municipalities and school districts.
